Tasks for you - application

My dears, it is time to start with the application and the programme of our exchange.

at the beginning some files which migh you useful for you:
a) application form
b) programme guide - information which consider our project are mostly rfom page 24

And now list of all those things which has to be done. Some of them urgently, some after other are compleated. I count on you. If you feel you are able to do something - please sign up. It has to be our project.

TO DO LIST:

1) Title of the project - it has to be catchy, fancy, sexy and short! and we have to have it fast. Any ideas?

2) Project partners - we are still missing one but Carol is working on this

3) Preliminary Project Agreement - so called part III, each partner organization has to fill out this document and signed and stemped send it to Pedro. We cannot do it untill we will have title of the project. But for now I need one person per organization who will be in charge of contacting organziation and sending part III to Spain.

4) Writing programme - thats somehow task for all. There is already post about programme and you can add all your ideas. I would like to establish working group of minimum 3 people who will together collect ideas and make draft of the programme. Who is in?

5) Writing the application - I hope some of you would like to join writing application. It is very easy, and to facilitate the process even more you can download my last application from "Time for Dialogue". So we have following parts to write:

a) Objectives and priorities (Please explain the context, the origin and the objectives of your project and in which way it meets the objectives and the priorities of the Youth in Action Programme.) - more info about objectives you will find in my first post (first post on blog)

b) Partnership - how you found the other promoter(s), how you established an efficient partnership, and how the partner(s) will cooperate and be involved in the project

c) theme - the theme(s) of the project (so eco&art, but it has to be nicly described)

d) activities - the activities foreseen throughout the project for its implementation, including preparatory and evaluation activities (we can do it after compleating the programme)

e) Protection and safety - Please describe how your project ensures the protection and safety of young people involved

f) Advance Planning Visit - please indicate proposed programme, dates and venue

g) Project's content and methodology:
- how the main theme reflects the interests and needs of participants,
- the working methods,
- how the planned activities and working methods will contribute to the process of non-formal learning and to the promotion of social and personal development of young people involved in the project,
- how the young people will be actively involved in each stage of the project

h) Intercultural dimension - Please indicate if and how your project reflects the following characteristics:
- the project increases young people's positive awareness of other cultures,
- the project supports dialogue and intercultural encounters with other young people from different backgrounds and cultures,
- the project helps to prevent and combat prejudice, racism and all attitudes leading to exclusion,
- the project develops sense of tolerance and understanding of diversity.

i) Impact, multiplying effect and follow-up - Please explain the expected impact on young participants and the local communities involved in the project and which measures are foreseen to attain this impact. In a long term perspective, please describe how you plan to achieve a multiplying effect and sustainable impact. Please also explain how you plan to follow up this Youth Exchange (e.g. new projects within the framework of the Youth in Action Programme, continuous contact with the promoter(s), etc.)?

j) Visibility - Apart from the compulsory use of the Programme Logo (cfr. Part C, Publicity, of the Programme Guide), please describe: how you will ensure the visibility of the project and how your project will provide clear promotional added value for the Youth in Action Programme.

k)Dissemination and exploitation of results - Please give a detailed description of standard measures planned in view to disseminate and exploit the results of the project

If you have any ideas or will to take care of one or more points - feel free to join writing the project. Don't worry if you are afraid that you might write something wronge, I will read it and if there will be any mistakes I will explain you what should be corrected. So you can learn.
